This is a water pump on the east side of Berlin.
Mariana shared a lot of stories about the changes she grew up with. I completely enjoyed not only the history of the city but her own history as well.

Look kids this is where time comes from. I wanted to turn it back a couple hours and see if we could time travel but Mariana said the German people frown on that kind of thing.

That is probably not the official name. There were guys selling fake day passes to the east.

This is a holocaust monument.
The blocks are coffins, the maze is a maze where you can always see a way out, and inside the blocks get very tall and the pavement rolls, this is for the ups and downs of Jewish history.
